Stars In the Sky

What star would i want,
if a star i could have.
with no limits on any,
no matter how far.
I'd chose the smallest,
the one not noticed,
because its rejected,
it'd be my star.

If i could chose just one star,
to show us our love,
I'd find us the biggest,
and the brightest of all.
To show that i love you,
to show that i care.
And to let all the world know,
im luckiest of all.

I'd hope we could sit there,
an hour a day,
and look towards the heavens,
to see our star shine.
I dont know ill see you
tomorrow or then after
But i do know that star,
will always be bright.
Wether youre near,
Or wether youre far,
I hope you'll look up,
and thinkk of me often.
And feel all the joy,
of love burn within.
With hopes of tomorrow,
and dreams of the past.

If i'm with angels,
and with choirs in clouds
I promise i'll show you,
your way in the dark.
I'll meet you by sunsets,
and dance in the rains,
I'll leave with the mornings,
and watch you at noon.
I'll wait by the gates,
watching you and your life.
And i'll hope that youre happy,
that you dont lose your love,
I would want you to move on,
to see others instead.
Life isnt waiting,
loves not o'er your head.

I hope that youve noticed
I'm here till the end,
until i last flicker,
and soon after am dead.

But if I could chose a star,
id pick the biggest and brightest.
So one day you'll know,
exactly where to meet me.

and know that i care,
you'll find me and tell me,
and our feeling's we'll share...
